Frequently asked questions
I'm already seeing a health professional - can you still help me?
Absolutely! I can work alongside your GP, specialist or another allied health professional. It's important that I know what other care you are receiving, any diagnosed medical conditions, and any medications you are on.
Addressing issues such as your metabolic health through Metabolic Balance® can have positive knock-on effects across the whole body, and different ailments.
What can you help with?
I can support you through a number of conditions and challenges including metabolic health (think cardiovascular issues like hypertension, diabetes, healthy weight, cholesterol), ADHD, perimenopause, gut health, inflammation and many others. Food as medicine can help these and the whole body to function better. Contact me to see how.
What is a Clinical Nutritionist anyway?
A Clinical Nutritionist is a degree-qualified professional who has undertaken training in human pathophysiology and hundreds of hours of clinical training with clients. We work to optimise health and to help remediate disease states and do this through assessing people's nutritional needs, and developing customised nutrition plans such as dietary modification and supplementation. We work on a first principles basis addressing the root cause of illness.
